Who we are
This website is operated by Dolan Auto Group ("Dolan," "we," "us"), a family-owned automotive group serving Northern Nevada, with dealerships in Reno and Fernley, Nevada. This policy describes how we handle information collected through this website.
Information we collect
- Vehicle valuation tool. When you request an offer, we and our valuation provider (TradePending) collect the information you enter: license plate or VIN, vehicle year/make/model, mileage, condition details, and — if you choose to receive or save your offer — your name, email address, and/or phone number.
- Consent preference. A first-party cookie (
dbc_consent) records your cookie choice so we don't re-ask on every visit. - Technical data. Like nearly all websites, our hosting infrastructure logs IP addresses, browser type, and pages requested for security and performance.
How we use information
- To generate and honor your vehicle offer and complete a purchase if you proceed, including title transfer and any lien payoff.
- To respond when you contact us or ask us to follow up.
- To operate, secure, and improve this website.
Your privacy rights
California residents (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to access it, correct it, delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To exercise them, email luke@redmoon.media or use the opt-out below.
Nevada residents (NRS 603A / SB260). You may direct us not to sell covered information we have collected about you. Submit your request to luke@redmoon.media.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
To opt out of cookie-based sharing on this site, click the button below and choose "Reject non-essential" — this prevents advertising and analytics cookies from loading on this device and browser.
To submit an opt-out request that applies beyond cookies (for example, to information you've provided to us directly), email luke@redmoon.media with "Do Not Sell or Share" in the subject line. You may use an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf.
How long we keep information
We keep valuation and transaction records as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal, tax, and titling requirements that apply to vehicle transactions. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or de-identified.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS, and we use reputable hosting with access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information with measures appropriate to its sensitivity.
Children
This site is intended for adults selling vehicles and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
When our data practices change — for example, when we add a new tool or advertising partner — this policy is updated to match, and the "Last updated" date at the top changes. Material changes will be noticeable on this page.
